Born in Sydney, Australia in 2015, Kandy is a nightlife, music & major events brand, with a huge nationwide following. It’s creator, Rafa ‘MC Rafa’ Cesan, has a lifetime of experience in the music and events industry, beginning his career as a performing artist and event host, releasing music since 2002 and entertaining crowds internationally for over 20 years. In 2010, Rafa became a full time events promoter, organising festivals, concert tours and nightclubs across Australia, Latin America & Spain. Now living permanently in Phuket, Rafa launched his latest project, Kandy Thailand, in 2023.
Kandy Thailand is a lifestyle, media, and events brand focused on delivering high-energy nightlife, live entertainment, and major sporting and cultural events across South East Asia. Based in Phuket, Kandy connects international artists, global sports moments, and local audiences through curated experiences, premium venues, and large-scale productions.
